Marine Life Sail:
Come aboard the Manakai for our marine life sail and enjoy the ocean breeze and pristine Hawaiian waters. We will sail along the Waikiki coast towards diamond head and on the way we may encounter marine life. During this time we have the best chances to come across Turtles and pods of Dolphins racing alongside the boat. During the winter months (November-April) we will sail along and spot humpback whales and their calfs breaching putting on an entertaining show. (Marine life isn't guaranteed)
Tradewinds Sail:
Come aboard the Manakai during our afternoon sail. At this time the trade winds pick up and will push us at a faster speed. You'll experience a faster cruise toward diamond head and into deeper waters outside Waikiki where the Humpback whales hang out (seasonal). If your a thrill seeker jump on the cargo net and hold on for a wet ride. Marine life can still be sighted throughout the sail.
Sunset Sail:
We have the most beautiful sunsets in the world and you'll have a clear view from the water on the Manakai. Our sunset sail is by far a must for anyone visiting Hawaii. We will sail out from Waikiki and on our return we will park on the water. Enjoy the breath taking view of the sun reflecting off our Hawaiian waters creating sunsets like no other. Don't forget your cameras!
Fireworks Sail:
Welcome aboard the Manakai on our Friday night firework sail. The spectacular night view of Honolulu city with the surrounding Ko'olau mountain range is breath taking. Witness the sky light up with Mahina (Hawaiian for "Moon") and beautiful back drop of the Waikiki coast. To top off your evening you'll partake in an incredible firework display with front row seating on deck. (Please be present at the loading zone by 6:45pm. The boat may not be there due to its previous sail times being so close. Just sit tight. We will be there shortly and we won't forget about you. Departure times may vary roughly 15 mins but never before schedule)
About the Mana Kai:
Mana Kai Catamaran was built in 1977 by William Brown in Honolulu, Hawaii. Inspired by his father, Waikiki beach boy, surfing, sailing, and soaring legend, Woody Brown who built the very first modern day catamaran (Manu Kai) William decided to build a boat of his own. Standing 32 feet long and 16 feet wide, the Mana Kai can accommodate up to 26 passengers. Our famous Hawaiian Rainbow sail, lounge net and a pleasant sound system adds to your sailing pleasure. We are an environmentally friendly, USCG certified vessel. Our catamaran is located on Waikiki Beach in front of the world famous Duke Statue and beach front of the Hyatt Regency Hotels. Reservations are welcome online, by phone, or walk up (subject to availability). Come join us on your next sailing experience an explore Waikiki in style!
