Description:

Kaumahina State Wayside Park is located at Hana Highway in Maui coast, Hawaii. It is a 7.8 acre area that offers divine and forested relaxing point for explorers. There are plenty of picnic facilities that can be enjoyed by people over here, along with the gorgeous looking Keanae Peninsula as well as the northern Maui coastline. A eucalyptus orchard gives shade to the park; also visitors can get glimpses of various exotic plants. There are no drinking water facilities available here; however porta potty or toilet facility is present at the park.

The grassy lawn and the picnic tables make the park a good family stop. Remember to walk beyond the rest rooms to get a striking view of coastal landscape that slides through the south. After walking few miles ahead, the surroundings will make you feel energized and brings you to a fresh panorama. During rainy season the water crashes the mountains in abundance.

People who love camping can have a good time at this park as it is free of cost. The place experiences a pleasant climate round the year. Winter experiences more rainfall at the windward part of island. As there are few trails in the location, hiking also becomes possible.
