I am so impressed with this luau! Great service, amazing food and awesome entertainment. I was so happy with the beautiful view overlooking the ocean. I couldn't ask for a more perfect night.

The event was beautifully performed and we were so happy to experience this as well. Even though it rained on and off we were presented with ponchos so that we could continue with the performance. And just like with true performers, they did not let the rain nor the chill in the air stop them from putting on an amazing show, and instead used the opportunity to make jokes about their current situation. ... moreWould love to see the show again in the future. Thank you for allowing our daughter to have a beautiful first birthday celebration.

Overall:
I'm proud to say my family was present for the GRAND OPENING and it was absolutely spectacular!!! From start to finish the performances were natural, exhilarating and heart warming! It was everything we expected and more! The host was like a gentleman game show host, The rest of the cast was incredible and beautiful, and the food was good but could've been a lil more seasoned. But my children loved ... morethe whole event, everybody that were present loved it and I'M sure that all families that attend in the future will absolutely love it!!! Your family made us all feel like family!!! You will all be in our hearts forever!!! Thank you sincerely, we'll visit again!!!

Overall:
Excellent show, a must see, I was really impressed with the service, food and the performance. The only comment I must say is that when they were doing the haka the music in the background took the fierceness of it. I was really looking for the haka dance. Overall awesome performance, great show and location. Thumbs up.

Overall:
I am so glad my family dragged me out to this Luau! I would not have chosen this activity on my own. Doors opened at 5:30pm and we arrived at 6:00pm (we were the last group to arrive). We hurried down the ramp toward the activity area. WOW what a beautiful sight! Although the day was losing sun, the luau site is perched on a hill facing the shore with a view of an island in the background and palm ... moretrees swaying in the breeze. 

There were a few free activities that guest were able to partake in: Lei making, washable tattoos, Palm leave crown making and a couple other stations I didn't get a chance to visit. We were a bit rushed through the activities because we were late and the pig roast began around 6:30pm. That was very entertaining to watch! 

They began allowing the guests to get up for the buffet-style dinner, shortly after the roast. This is were I have my one complaint. They were allowing guests to come up in an orderly fashion, table by table. BUT we were table 17 of 17, so we were last. This would have not bothered me if it had not meant we had to eat/semi eat our dinner in the dark! Let me explain.... by the time we were up to grab our food and made it back to our table we had about 10 minutes until they completely shut off the lights for the "show." I get it. The lights had to be shut to get the effects of the fire throwing and such, but that literally left us trying to eat our food in the dark which was extremely disappointing because we couldn't enjoy the dinner. From what I was able to taste, the food was good. 

It did begin to rain and the employees passed out ponchos, a nice touch. The rain didn't last long, but the wind was strong! I believe it's a cold and windy part of the island so definitely bring a jacket for the night time. 

All in all, we had a great time! The performers and employees all had such great attitudes!! One of the hula girls even gave me her bobby pins from her hair because my lei crown kept blowing off. Big thanks to her!! 

I would recommend this luau, just be prepared for cold/rainy weather.. go early and ask for a low number table at your reservations!!

This was the best luau yet. Activities prior to the show, great show, great staff and perfect location. I would highly recommend this luau.  Also for the price compared to other luau's this was a better deal plus we had entrance to sea life park with the luau

Great food, great show with excellent performances as well as educational. Audience participation was a lot of fun. Host and performers were informative and had a great sense of humor. Fantastic views of the east side of the island and the ocean. Would highly recommend and would go again.

An overall amazing experience! First time at a luau and I highly recommend the Ka Moana luau!! Beautiful location, the show was fantastic, and the food was fantastic!!!!

We had a great night at Ko Moana Luau with family and friends. This is our 2nd time but first with our kids. Food was delicious with good variety for all dietary requirements. My kids, who are fussy eaters ate their whole plates!  My son got up on stage to do the Hula which was amazing as he’s young but the dancers made it a fun and friendly experience so he wasn’t scared. ... more
Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed the show and when the kids got fidgety there was plenty of space to run around without disturbing the show. Definitely a must do if visiting Hawaii. Recommend to all!

Incredible!! If I could give it more stars, I would. The food was great. Everyone was extremely welcoming. The view is amazing. They have activities to do such as lei making, make your own palm leaf headbands, and play a ukulele. The show was so entertaining I didn't want it to end! They were funny and very good at what they do. I highly recommend this luau! I can't wait to come back and see it again.

Very friendly & outgoing staff and performers. Fun activities to do and a picture to take with a beautiful view before the luau started. The shows were awesome especially the fire knife dancing. Food was great! The picture to purchase was optional however I don't plan on going to many luaus and tonight was very fun and a memorable one so ofcourse I got it! I would highly recommend!

The view!!! The Sea Life park luau Ka Moana luau is so perfect you see the mountains right above and it's out on the ocean with a breathtaking view of rabbit island right there! The Sea Life Park location makes this luau plus the show was authentic! So funny and kept me entertained all night (I've seen 4 other companies put on luaus and sometimes fall asleep!). The fire dancing was so neat with a ... more12 year old spinning!!! It's a must see for sure. Food was good, drinks we good, and not too far from Waikiki. We get to go back and visit sea life park too with our ticket so I can't wait.

Great food. Great entertainment . Million dollar view.  I love how the Ka Moana luau embraces the Hawaiian culture . I got to enjoy many activities including making my own coconut straw headband. I also was able to get a temp tattoo of a turtle and sample Lomi lomi salmon and poi (Hawaiian food) . Everyone was very welcoming and friendly that it made it even more worth the time. During part of the ... moreentertainment they had a fire show of this amazing 12 year old boy which was one of my favorite parts.

Located at Sea Life Park Hawaii. General Admission included. Passes are good for 1 week from Luau night. Need transportation? No problem. 7 pick up locations from Aloha Towers to Kahala Resort. Early pickup available for those who want to check out the Park prior to the luau.
