Description:

Pearl Harbor/Arizona memorial is perhaps the most popular tourist attraction in Oahu. You get there, watch a 30 minute documentary & then take a boat ride to the memorial. This is all free, but there are several battle ships & museums you can visit for an admission. These other attractions relate to WW2, & these tours take you around & show you these sites.

WHAT YOU MIGHT LIKE ABOUT THIS TOUR

  • The best thing about these Pearl Harbor is that all you have to do is get up on time. Many people enjoy these tours, especially after spending so much time planning airfare, hotel accommodation, getting time off, & when they are here they want to relax.
  • You see many places in one day, whereas if you took the bus, it would take you 1.5 hours to get there from Waikiki, & 1.5 hours to get back.
  • While its the most popular attraction, its not a typical "tourist" attraction in the sense that it is a War Memorial. If you want to see it because "you have to see Pearl Harbor" we recommend the most basic tour or combining it with the circle island tour. This way you see a lot of stuff in one day that would take you several if you did it on your own. If you are really interested in WW 2 history, we r ecomment taking the Heroes Adventure Tour, so that you have a guide that can walk you through & tell you historical facts.

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE ABOUT THIS TOUR

  • This is a tour. So you can expect certain things that come with most sightseeing tours. Yopu might think "oh I could have done this myself ''or oh "it wasnt that great," but keep in mind, that if you did it by yourself you would spend 3 hours on the bus. Not to mention that you might get there and have to wait more time b/c usually the tickets run out fast b/c its free. Usually if you "hang loose" & relax in the A/C tour bus, you will have a good time.
  • You might feel like some of the stops are too short, or a place you want to stop at they just drive through. Again, keep in mind that the objective is to see as many things in one day as possible & get background knowledge from a guide.
  • Sometimes unexpected things happen. While Hawaii is beautiful we do occasionally have rainy weather & traffic jams. Whats good about these tours is that they are arranged in a way to avoid traffic & have back-up plans if it gets rainy

Frequently Asked Questions
Click on the red "Book It" button and make a request. You will receive a confirmation usually within hours. If it is not available you will not be charged and we'll help you find an alternative date or similar tour.
H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
Most companies, if not all, require you to call them if you're trying to book something 2-3 days in advance. Do you really want to be spending your valuable time in Hawaii calling around to desperately find something that is available to do? While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible! When you get to the booking page, select the hotel you are staying at. Your confirmation email will have the pickup location which will either be your hotel, or somewhere within 5 minute walking distance.
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!

“Best way to see Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona, USS Missouri, and the Pacific National Cemetary”
Overall:
My husband and I took this tour to view Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona & USS Missouri, and the Punch Bowl Crater National Cemetary as well as downtown Honolulu on September 4th. This was THE BEST way to see these sites. I give a BIG Shout our to KIMO, our tour guide. He is a veteran and had so much to add to our tour. He made the day a memorable one!

My Visit to Pearl Harbor
Overall:
This was very easy to book and Angel was nice to give me info about all my options. I chose this tour package because it included a guide but wasn't as expensive as the other tour packages. All very interesting, a lot of war history, and definitely worth it. We didn't have to wait in any lines which was nice as some of those places are quite busy.

“Pearl Harbour Tour | Arizona, Missouri, Bowfin”
Overall:
I am a history freak so, this was right up my alley. It was well organized and efficient. I was a bit surprised that not much of the tour was dedicated to the details of the attack. It was more like an "experience" tour like you might get in a museum for the Holocaust or something. I wanted more data! But, it was just a hope of mine and may have been fine for others. The Missouri was very interesting ... moreas I knew the Japanese surrendered on her in Tokyo Bay in 1945. The irony was not lost that the war for the US started on one side of the harbor and ended on a ship moored there now. The Bowfin was unremarkable and smelly honestly. It smelled so foul I didnt want to go inside. Our tour guide, Ernie, was Ex Navy and was knowledgeable. He was a bit of a government waste critic and sometimes his opinions were inappropriate given that he is also an outspoken fan of our current administration.

“Worth the Visit Via Polynesian Adventure Tours”
Overall:
I never get tired of visiting the USS Arizona whenever in Oahu. It's like a pilgrimage for me and it's apropos to pay homage to those who died DEFENSELESS due to treachery. The USS Missouri is another Pearl Harbor icon worth visiting. It's not only where the War in the Pacific ended with the surrender of Imperial Japan, it also holds a lot of history for every American to cherish and reflect on while ... moreroaming its grounds/teak deck. Polynesian Adventure Tours added downtown pass-bys like the Punchbowl, National War Memorial, the Statue of King Kamehameha, the Library, the Iolani palace, etc. Our tour guide/driver-the Big Man in a Blueshirt-was excellent but a stickler to time. Thanks, Big Man, you're real awesome and knowledgeable.

“Pearl Harbor, USS Missouri & Honolulu Tour”
Overall:
What made this tour was the tour guide, Kimo!!!!! Very knowledgable and occasionally funny!!!! We enjoyed this tour VERY much. The only drawback would be the amount of time given at Pearl Harbor. Once we finished the USS Arizona Memorial, everything seemed very rushed to get back on the bus. At least an additional 30 minutes would have been great!

My family and I took the tour of Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, and the USS Missouri. Our driver Wes was excellent and a lot of fun.  They picked us up right at our hotel and dropped us off there as well. It made for a great day. We were able to see and learn about Honolulu, and had our tickets for the USS Arizona already. One nice thing was we were able to leave our bigger bags on the bus that was locked ... morewhile we were at Pearl Harbor instead of having to pay for storage. We had plenty of time to view things while at Pearl Harbor and while at the USS Missouri. We arrived back at our hotel in the early afternoon and still had time for the beach and other activities that evening. This tour does go through lunch and you don't stop, so you want to have something with you on the bus or grab something while at Pearl Harbor.
I would recommend this to anyone that would like to see the sights and not have to do all the driving yourself.

Keao Low was our guide around to Pearl Harbor and the rest of the island. His knowledge and great attitude made it exceptional. His signing was a great mood setter too. Even the older folks had fun.

Fantastic tour guide. Just a big disappointment that the boating to Pearl Harbour Memorial was cancelled due to the Navy but no compensation was given.

But if you can request his tour I HIGHLY recommend you do. His knowledge of the islands, the people, the history of Hawaii, the good spots to see on and on is priceless. He made us feel like we've been friends forever and a day. An ladies, he is ... morea nice lookin Hawaiian fella...lol. I had the best time. I'm not a real big tour bus person..but next year when we go back...Polynesian Tours will definitely be on my things to do. Tour Guide Host: Ernel made us feel like ohana, taught us a great deal about the language and is a very high energy tour guide. I agree Jaime W.he is the GREATEST Tour Guide EVER! He is full of energy, warm, naturally comical and knowledgable. He was our host during the bus travel from our pick up to our drop off, but was not our host for the actual Pearl Harbor tour. However, we did have some excellent ... morehosts during the Missouri tour . We also snuck next to Hawaii Five O shooting. Sssssh don't tell anyone. My kids stayed engaged the entire five hours.
