Morning 2 Tank Dive Charter
|
|
|
Dive Type: Boat Dive Certified Dive Snorkel Only Ride Along
Description:
Enjoy two morning dives at two different locations in Kona, Hawaii's pristine waters where you may see endemic tropical fish, view the many formations made by old lava flows, observe green sea turtles, spot the hard to find octopus, and many more wonderful creatures. Often, we have dolphins who escort our boat as we leave the harbor. During the winter months humpback whales are spotted during our surface interval and you may even hear them sing underwater.
What is included? We provide tanks, weights, and professional guides who will give you a thorough briefing of the dive site, what marine life we may expect to see, and a guided tour of the area. Fresh fruit, snacks, and water is provided during your surface interval while the crew changes your gear over to a fresh tank. On the way back to the harbor the crew breaks down your gear leaving you to enjoy the ride home. We would also be happy to store the gear for your next charter. Dive Requirements: Divers are required to bring their certification card (no c-card = no diving) and are expected to have been on a recent dive, at least within the past 2 years. If you have been dry over 2 years we do require a check out dive to be completed before joining the dive group. Certified Divers: Divers are required to have their Open Water Certification and to bring their certification card (no card = no diving). We would be happy to help you find your certification, but sometimes we find them and sometimes we don't (which means no diving and no refund) so please let us help you early. We would love for you to come talk story prior to your dive, but if you would like to go directly to the boat please make sure you have your certification card on your person or have emailed us a copy of your c-card and have signed the electronic waiver. Junior Open Water Diver and Scuba Diver Requirements: For safety reasons we require Junior Open Water Divers, ages 10-11, to be with a private guide. Divers ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian diver or private guide. For safety reasons we require those with only a PADI Scuba Diver Certification to dive with a private guide. A PADI Scuba Diver Certification is given to those that only complete the first 2 check out dives of their Open Water certification.

Frequently Asked Questions
As long as possible! Your underwater time will be determined by your air consumption and comfort level. You will be diving twice, in two different locations. We use 80 cf tanks, but 63 cf tanks are available, upon request, for the petite diver.
All dive gear is included, but if you have some of your own personal equipment (mask, snorkel, fins) please bring them along with you, if you like them! Come wearing your swimsuits and bring a towel, reef safe sunscreen (S4 is available for purchase in the shop), hat, sunglasses, etc.
We welcome the non-divers of your party to enjoy a morning of snorkeling off the Honu One. Snorkelers must be 8 years of age or older, able to swim, have prior snorkeling experience, and those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
- Please be informed of our 48 hour cancellation policy. You may make changes or cancellations to your reservations up to 48 hours prior to the trip without penalty. Afterwards, all changes, cancellations, or no shows will not be issued a refund.
The only exception to this policy will be if we receive a medical note from a local doctor for a treatment/exam which must have taken place within 48 hours of the check in time of the missed dive. This does not waive the companion diver.
