While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or a increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. Since Waikiki is a very small area, if they do not pick up at your hotel, it will be from another one that will be a 3-5 minute walk. This makes the pick up process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible!

Nice Half-Day Trip
Overall:
Angel recommended this tour because its not too long (I didn't want to ride on a bus all day) but you see a bunch of stuff. East side of Oahu is beautiful! My favorite part was the Makapuu look out, amazing beaches, we ended up renting a car the next day and checking out that area more. Thanks!

“Mini Circle Island with Scenic Shores bus tour”
Overall:
This was a wonderful half day tour that took in many beautiful locations. Our driver, Yu (?) was considerate, full of wonderful stories and always made sure we knew what time we were needed back on the bus without rushing us. We were lucky that day because there were only eleven of us, and everyone was considerate about keeping others waiting. Yu made the tour that little bit more fun and interactive ... moreby teaching us the basics of the Hawaiian language then encouraging us to pronounce several of the passing street signs. A lot of fun!
The pickup was on time as was the drop off. The bus was larger than expected and very clean. 
The tour stopped at several beaches with enough time for photographs as well as the Halona blow hole although the high point of the trip for us was definitely the Nu'uanu Pali lookout with its stunning views. Can't be beat. 
Would book with Polynesian Adventure Tours again.

Overall:
Tour: Mini Circle Island Tour. Tour around the southeastern area of the island. 4 stars because staff at Polynesian Tours quickly assisted me with a scheduling snafu that I didn't realize until an hour before the tour. Sarah at Polynesian was great! The tour itself was ok, with lots of scenic stops and a guide who said he has never left the island--except to go swimming. But the bus was full of squeaks ... moreand rattles; glad this was a 4 hour tour and not all-day, my head couldn't take it!

My biggest issue is that I could never tell when the guide was joking and when he was annoyed at us tourists.
