Description:

Our afternoon dives take beginners and advanced divers to two natural reefs abundant with the most captivating marine life. You’ll likely spot friendly sea turtles, schools of rare Hawaiian fish and plenty of octopus on your own. And don’t worry, our crew members will make sure you don’t miss anything. They have the uncanny ability to spot sea creatures from afar.

Tours depart from Kewalo Basin Harbor or Maunalua Bay, depending on your tour. We offer a complimentary roundtrip shuttle ride from your hotel.

Here are just a few of the reef dive sites we choose from:

• Angler Reef: We lovingly call this place “octopus heaven” because the place is teeming with fascinating varieties of octopus. This reef also attracts spotted eagle rays and frogfish.
• Nautilus Reef: This is a prime location for octopuses and large eels.
• Kewalo Pipe/Horseshoe Reef: Beware of the large schools of barracuda and the largest morays around the island. They call this place home.

What to bring: Swimsuit, sunscreen, towel and waterproof camera. We provide all the diving gear and equipment, but feel free to bring your wetsuit if you prefer.

H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend aso much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!

We are available to discuss your schedule and options during our normal business hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm Hawaii Standard Time.
While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible!
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!
You have to be at least 12 years old to dive, be comfortable in the water, and be able to carry 30 pounds on your back.
Sea Sickness affects everyone differently. If you've never been on the ocean, it’s probably a good idea to take some form of motion sickness remedy such as Dramamine or Bonine the night before and morning of your dive trip. Be sure to talk to the Staff to get more information or your doctor before you go diving if you have trouble with motion sickness.
You cannot not fly for at least 18 hours after your last dive however the recommended time is 24 hours. After you get off the plane, you can dive immediately.
A seat on the boat is $55.00. If someone would like to snorkel or just come along for the ride, all gear is included in that price.
Our custom 25′ Force dive boat “Submariner” is Coast Guard Certified to safely transport 12 divers per trip however we usually take no more than 10. Our custom 39′ Force the “Snoopy V” is Coast Guard Certified for up to 28 people, but no more than 16 divers are typically on board. We limit our dive groups to 6 certified divers or 4 beginners per instructor and specialize in small groups and personal attention.
THERE IS NO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED!! The introductory dive tour is perfect for someone who wants to try Scuba Diving. The only requirement is that you pass a medical questionnaire. Please ell us if you have any medical issues prior to booking.
Terms & Conditions

  • We require 24 hours advanced notice of cancellation for a full refund. Please plan and reserve your dive schedules accordingly. Cancellation or changes made less than 24 hours in advance will incur all charges.

Kelsey and Liz were great!!! I did an explore (non-cert) dive with Liz on the first day, and decided to go for the certification.....thanks Liz!! Liz was not only patient, but a lot of fun to dive with....and she will even let you assist her with loading and unloading of gear so you get the full experience!! On day two, I had the pleasure of working with Kelsey on the beach, practicing skills, and ... moregetting ready for two additional dives. Kelsey is a great teacher, and explains everything very well. I know I'm forgetting some names of captains and office personnel, but what you should take from the narrative is that this is the shop to visit when you're in Honolulu/Waikiki. I can't wait to come back and dive with them again!!

We went out with Captain Nick and the experience was great. Tim, Melissa, Kelsey, and Marni were also fantastic. We highly recommend this company for any diving, fishing, or wale watching.  Top class crew and top class service. We will definitely e using them on our next trip to Oahu.

Amazing first time scuba diving! Can't believe I was scared to do this for so many years. My claustrophobic fears lasted about 2 minutes before the experience took over. Thanks to the team for creating such a welcoming, relaxing and safe experience. Thank you for the kamaiana discount as well! I will definitely be back.

This was my first ever scuba dive and I gotta say all the staff was fantastic and gave me all the info and instructions I needed to feel comfortable and safe under water, Nick was awesome and made sure I was ok during both dives, we swam with eels, turtles and even saw a pregnant shark! What an awesome and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Great crew, friendly and professional service. Great for all levels of experience. We had a kickass time!  Kelsey and Manny were great instructors, enthusiastic and helpful every step of the way. Definitely recommend for anyone who visits Oahu! Thank you for the fun and experience we were hoping for in Oahu!

From the very start this place was great! Somehow my booking was done for the wrong day, (on my part) they let me change to the following day without any grief! The morning of the dive we showed up a little early to check in and from the moment we walked in they were all super friendly. They got us fitted for everything as we filled out paperwork, everything was quick and painless. Kelsey was my dive ... moreinstructor and she was fantastic! We had 3 people in our group, the third person showed up late and Kelsey was very patient with him the whole time even when he had issues during the first dive (I wouldn't have had as much patience). She was a great instructor and made the experience perfect, I really wish I had more time and had done the full certification! We saw tons of fish, eels, and giant sea turtles on the dive, and just had an overall great time!

For beginners this is undoubtedly the best experience. The dive masters were very knowledgable and made sure to point out the animals and sites to everyone. I highly recommend this shop and the great locations they dive. I cna't wait to come back to finish my cert. Mahalo!

Overall:
This was the first time my husband(Sonny Smith) and I scuba diving. Scuba diving has always been a dream of mine. It was an awesome experience. Thank to our Wonderful diving instructor Erik. You can tell he really loves his job. Erik just has this natural ability with people that makes them just relax and enjoy the whole experience in and out of the water

Went scuba diving for the first time with these guys, ended up getting certified and it was all an incredible experience! The instructors are extremely professional but still keeping it super fun. Loved every moment of it and would recommend waikiki diving centre to everyone! Thanks guys x
