Deep and Shallow Scuba Dive

Island:
OAHU
Dive Type:
Boat Dive
Description:

For the more advanced crowd we have an early morning dive charter. We usually dive one deep wreck around 100’ and a shallower reef for our second dive 40-60’, but with an experienced enough group, the underwater world is at our fingertips. Since the wrecks are a bit farther from shore, we often see more Pelagic Fish, and sometimes even some dolphins and whales! Due to the depths of the wrecks we do require a minimum of 25 dives, preferably Advanced Open Water and have dove in the last year. All dives are led by either a Divemaster or Instructor, and will be in small groups to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our divers.

What to expect:
Tailored for advanced divers, our deep and shallow dive will take you to the most bewitching sites off the coast of Oahu. Check in at the Hawaiian Diving Adventures boat at 7:15 a.m. We’ll start with a 100-foot plunge to a shipwreck. Because the wrecks are significantly far from shore, we often see more pelagic fish, dolphins and—if we’re lucky—whales! Then we’ll dive to a shallow reef about 40–60 feet deep.

With an experienced enough group, we’re able to guide you to more adventurous areas of the underwater world.

Please note: Wrecks are located significantly deeper than shallow reefs. We require you to have done at least 25 dives before participating in this particular excursion. Preferably, you should be certified in Advanced Open Water and have dived in the last year.

What to bring:
Swimsuit, sunscreen, towel and waterproof camera. We provide all the diving gear and equipment, but feel free to bring your wetsuit if you prefer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Click on the red "Book It" button and you will see live availability. Keep in mind availability changes constantly, so make sure to book in advance!
H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Once you are filling out the booking form, select the hotel you are staying in and it will tell you which hotel they pick up from that is closest. Many times its the same hotel you are staying in, other times its just one within walking distance.
Terms & Conditions
  • Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • You cannot fly in a plane within 18 hours of going scuba diving.

What a lovely experience I had with this company. Andrew and Susanna are the most friendly people! If you have any concerns with diving, they make sure you're comfortable and informed as they're very knowledgeable people. Enjoyed the dives to the ship wreck and Turtle Canyon. Can't wait to return and you guessed it...they'll be the first people I ring for a boat dive!

Our group did our first ocean boat dive with Susanna and Andrew and we had a great time! We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked an additional trip that took us to a shipwreck and then a turtle cleaning station. The staff were super nice and we're looking forward to our next trip.

Hawaiian Diving Adventures is a great company with an energetic staff. You won't go diving were "the rest" go, instead you'll be treated to some really unique sites and a personalized experience. I would highly recommend them and would say anyone who visits Hawaii and wants to go on a once in a lifetime experience should use Hawaiian Diving Adventures.
