School and Non-Profit Groups:
Our tour is not just fun, but educational. We work to foster a love of the ocean and the environment in our children. We offer very affordable rates for keiki groups. We take up to 24 passengers.

Ash Scattering of Loved One's Remains:
Ash scattering at sea has been an attractive alternative to other forms of interment for many generations. A return to nature, love of the sea, wishes of the deceased, a nautical background, conservation of land space, are just some of the reasons for selecting ash scattering at sea for the final disposition of cremated remains.

We have been providing this service to families over the past 15 years.
  • The boat is exclusively yours, up to 24 passengers.
  • You may bring whatever drinks or appetizers you like, or none at all.
  • Affordable flat rate.
  • Offered a.m. or p.m.
Ask us about our exclusive charters!
We are available for private charters. Planning a family reunion, wedding, or special occasion party? What better way than out at sea. You can bring your own food, or we can arrange catering. If you want alcoholic beverages you may bring your own, as we are not licensed to sell on board.

Some of the functions we have hosted include: Weddings, vow renewals, family reunions, memorial services, school groups, company parties, etc.

All tours depart from the Kailua-Kona Pier, located in front of the King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.
You can park across the street from the pier at the King Kamehameha hotel GPS address: 75-5660 Palani Rd. Kailua-Kona, HI 96740. If any members of your party have difficulty walking, consider dropping them off at the entrance to the pier prior to parking at the hotel lot.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Might want to wear sunscreen, although all glass bottom viewing is under roof. Don’t forget your camera!
Our boat was designed to allow us access to very shallow water, sometimes just a few feet deep, where you will view more colors than in deeper water. You will see close up and personal a myriad of beautiful tropical fish, a wide variety of living corals, and many other sea creatures that inhabit the reef. It is not unusual for us to find a friendly pod of the local Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins that always put on a great show. If you have already been snorkeling, this is a great way to learn about what you saw and ask questions. All crew members are active scuba divers and offer fascinating information about the sea!
Yes, people of all ages will enjoy it. The boat is very safe and completely “baby proof” as well. The vast majority of our younger passengers love the trip!
We limit our trips to 24 passengers. This insures that everyone has a great view while seated on our comfortable cushioned benches. Every seat is a window seat, but if you like, you can go up forward to the bow for sun and photography.
We cannot accommodate wheelchair-confined guests. Our boarding ramp has one small step, and the ramp is about 4’ long. Once you board our boat, there are 3 regular size steps with handrails, down to the deck. Guests using canes and walkers usually have no problem boarding
Probably not. But, as with any boat trip, the possibility is there. The beauty of our tour is that you are not stuck on a boat for an extended period if you should feel uncomfortable.
Yes!! We are available for just about anything including sunsets, parties, memorials, dolphin viewing, seasonal whale watching…. we can cater, or you can bring your own goodies. Our view boxes can convert to tables for dining or pupus.
H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!
