KaPili Tours offers an all day tour of Oahu with a local guide to show you and your small group paradise from a true Hawaiian perspective. One tour is held each day with the small capacity for 10 participants to ensure an intimate experience of Oahu, that is never rushed and never has a commercial tour feel. We look forward to showing you our island and making you a part of our ʻohana (family)!

KaPili Tours is not a big coach bus tour group. We offer tours for small groups only so that everyone can have plenty of time to take in the beautiful Oahu surroundings.

We offer full-day circle island Oahu tours. Our Pick-Up times begin at 7:00 am for those in the Waikiki area and may be earlier if picked up outside of the Waikiki area. Drop off times range from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm depending on how long the group chooses to stay at different sites.
Please be ready by 7:00am at your designated hotel pick-up location. You will receive a call the night before your tour to give you an approximate pick up time.
Yes, We suggest that you bring a backpack (Swim Suit, Sun Block, Mosquito Repellent, Light Snacks, Camera, Towels, etc. ) or something similarly light. In the case, you are taking our tour on the day of your flight. Please let us know about your itinerary in advance.
Yes. We offer courtesy pick-up and drop-off service from hotels in Waikiki and Downtown Honolulu. If you are staying outside of these limits, please let us know ahead of time. We will be more than happy to pick you up from your Residence. Please note: We do not come into the hotel lobby, or drive the van into the hotel driveway to meet you. You must be waiting outside the hotel with a view of the street, looking for the van. When booking a tour, see our “Pick-up Location” menu.
If you are staying outside of these limits, please let us know in ahead of time. We will be more than happy to pick you up from your O’ahu Residence, but may need to adjust your pick up time. You will receive a call the night before the tour with your pick up time. When booking a tour, see our “Pick-up Location” menu.

This tour was great! Just went today and I had a blast. The guide was super personal and friendly. We really learned about the island outside of your typical "and here on the left..." Coach bus tours. I loved how he was able to sense the vibe of the group and tailor the tour to us. He could tell we were more uncomfortable in the heat, so he did more of the tour from the van, only stopping for absolute ... moremust see spots. He also slowly learned we loved seeing the residential areas and brought us to see multi million dollar homes! We met lots of cool locals, ate lots of awesome food, and saw truly beautiful spots.

Overall:
Kale was a very knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humor! He gave us a unique and insightful (and non-generic) tour of the island that I don't believe we could have gotten from anyone else. Made lots of stops at local food farms, took some paths through nature that are infrequently traveled upon, and saw some amazing sights I had never even heard of. Also learned a great deal of the history ... morebehind this amazing culture. Definitely have to recommend KaPili tours!

This was our favorite part of our vacation! We didnt want our tour to end. Kale was the perfect tour guide! We saw parts of Oahu that even locals do not realize exist and saw everything we wanted to without feeling rushed. We laughed a lot and had a great time! By the end of our tour we felt like we were saying aloha to our ohana. Thanks Kale and co-pilot KaPili!

Hands down this was the best tour of the island!!!! The tour was very laid back. Our tour guide was educated, fun, and new everyone. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that is looking to see the "Real" Hawaii!!!

This was a great and very awesome tour! Kale is knowledgeable and insightful about the history and culture of the island. He made us laugh and made the tour so much fun. We visited places off the beaten path, ate great local foods and "talked story"! I would highly recommend this tour to any one coming to the island. It is a great way to get an idea about the island and then to plan what you want ... moreto do to complement the tour later. Thanks Kale!

It was a great tour Kale is great, very friendly and so much fun. We felt like we were on a family vacation. It was excellent, we had plenty of time at our stops and saw so much stuff in just 1 day. Excellent tour and excellent guide so informative. I feel like we saw the true island and not just a whole bunch of tourist traps.

We had the greatest time! Kale was fun and very knowledgeable about his "rock". We saw soooooo much! Definitely the Hawaiian experience we were looking to find. Family owned. Not a scripted company tour. He will take you anywhere you want to go/see! He gave a lot of helpful tips for places I wanted to revisit. A+++++ tour!

We had an AMAZING day!!!! We saw things we never would have seen trying to do it ourselves. Truly made us feel like we were part of his family. There was definitely no rushing. We were with him for 9 1/2 hours! Thank you so much Kale❤

Such an awesome tour. The day was amazing. Visiting the local places and food stops along the way. Kale was a great guide with good knowledge of the areas visited and history. Recommend the tour to see the 'real' Hawaii and move away from the tourist area.

This is HANDS DOWN the BEST circle island tour you can do! I'm new in town and had several friends ds come in so without knowing where to bring them I've tried several. Nothing came close to the experience we had with Kale, he was so personable and funny, it was such a better more intimate experience with a TRUE local. We learned so many interesting facts about the area and the Hawaiian culture. Very ... moreUNIQUE, and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I booked this tour as a result of Groupon offer, and great thing I did! Being my second time on this island but my husband's first, I wanted to give him an authentic taste of Hawaii. Setting up the tour through the website was super fast and easy. I received proper confirmation from Kale days in advance to ensure a smooth tour. Kale was super professional and such an awesome, authentic person! We ... morehit all the right places including the downtown area, Pa'li lookout, and some of the most amazing waters around the island. And of course, all on "Hawaiian time" meaning we as the group decided how much time to spend at each area. I saw more on this tour than the last time I used a commercial tour company. We got to eat at local stops and fruit stands, he even treated us to poi donuts which were great, yet purple. Stop looking for other tour companies and book with Kale! You will have such an amazing time!

My wife and I Did the circle island tour with Kale and we had an amazing time. Kale was extremely knowledgeable friendly and took us off the beaten path to some amazing sites on Oahu that most tourists won't ever see. I highly recommend Kapili Tours and Kale to anyone.

Incredible island tour! Truly enjoyed my day and so happy I was able to see historical sites, beautiful beaches and taste amazing food! If you want to have a great experience in Hawaii, be sure you use these guys to book your island tour. Friendly and they make you feel like family! I would definitely recommend them.
