Along with viewing film footage captured that fateful day, you will walk in the footsteps of Gen. Douglas MacArthur on the USS Battleship Missouri (the Mighty Mo) and see remains of a Japanese A6M2 Zero that was part of the Pearl Harbor attack. Accessible only by boat, the USS Arizona Memorial serves as a place of reflection as the final resting place for the more than 1,000 crewmen who lost their lives during the attack. The tour culminates in a narrated drive through the National Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl, Iolani Palace, Kawaiahao Church, Hawaii State Capitol Grounds and Honolulu City Hall.

Relive the dramatic series of events that unfolded on Dec. 7, 1941, during this daylong tour of Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial, Battleship Missouri Memorial, Pacific Aviation Museum, and USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park. A key turning point of World War II, the attack on Pearl Harbor remains one of the most significant events in US history.

Tour Overview (*denotes stops made)

  • Downtown Honolulu – Keep an eye out for the beautiful golden statue of King Kamehameha the Great; Iolani Palace – the only royal palace in the United States, Kawaiahao Church, Hawaii State Capital, and Honolulu City Hall.
  • Battleship Missouri Memorial walking tour – Walk in the footsteps of General MacArthur and experience the battleship’s most famous historic mission.
  • Pearl Harbor Visitor Center* – Welcome to Pearl Harbor, your gateway to American wartime history. Here you will visit monuments and museums; see exhibit galleries and displays; and learn from Pearl Harbor survivors.
  • USS Arizona Memorial* – The USS Arizona Memorial is the final resting place for many of the ship’s 1,177 crewmen who lost their lives on December 7, 1941. Accessible only by boat, it is a place of contemplation, inspiration and reflection.
  • Battleship Missouri Memorial* – Meet the Mighty Mo, the last battleship commissioned by the U.S. and the site of Japan’s WWII surrender. You’ll walk in the footsteps of General Douglas MacArthur as you envision the battleship’s most famous, historic mission.

  • USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park* – Enjoy a narrated audio tour of the submarine (designated a national historic landmark) and learn about her wartime service. Explore the world of submarines in the museum and on the waterfront. Exhibits include weapon systems, photographs, paintings, battle flags, original recruiting posters, detailed submarine models, and a Poseidon C-3 missile that allows visitors to examine its inner workings. Was the tour accurately described on the webiste? In other words did it meet your expectations?
(5.0 of 5)
We had a great time. The shuttle arrived on time. Fully equipped, strong AC, and comfortable. The guide is very knowledgeable. Being a Vet himself, he told me a lot of stories regarding the Pearl Harbor, or simply all the wars about that period of time. It's a full day event, from 6:30am to about 5pm. We visited all the sites, and even driving through downtown for some important tourist site. My only ... moreslight complain is that I wish to have spend more time in some of the museums. I guess that I can spend a whole day in Pearl Harbor itself.

Overall, highly recommend this company to everyone who wish to have a deep and serious tour for the Pearl Harbor!!
