Upper Waikani falls has another name as Three Bears Falls;
it is one of the most popular waterfalls located along the highway road. The
falls is divided into an upper portion which is smaller, and the lower falls
drop into a remarkable 1000 feet. Three Bears Falls can be reached through a
short walking path along the side of the bridge.
You will find the Upper Waikani falls half mile across
the 10 mile marker on Hana Highway. Visitors usually never miss to explore this
falls. When you glance on it for the first time, it looks as if there is no
direction into the main area; however you will discover short paths taking you
deep inside the location. Moving forward on the bridge, you will come across a
structure. Climbing on it will take you under bridge, through a jungle path
close towards the waterfall, then few steps forward you can come close to the incredible
vantage point. This experience is pretty surprising and will energize your
soul.
The interesting element of the falls is that the size
changes frequently depending on recent rainfall. During winter, the falls look
huge and unfriendly, and in summer and spring they are much smaller.
