Description:

On this Hawaii adventure tour you will travel through history as we visit Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial with a stop at the Pacific Aviation Museum. We wrap up this sightseeing tour with a drive through of Punchbowl National Cemetery, and the historic downtown Honolulu. Round trip Waikiki hotel transportation and expert narration all included on this tour.

No Oahu vacation is complete without a stop at Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial. We start your journey at the Visitor Center where you will view an excellent film documenting that fateful day in 1941 that changed the course of US history. Spend time browsing through the informative displays and viewing historic artifacts while learning more about that historic day.

Then you will board the US Navy launch for the short ride to the Arizona Memorial, built right over the wreckage of the USS Arizona. This beautiful reminder of the heroes of that day will leave you with overwhelming emotions; locate the “black tears”, the oil that still leaks to the surface even today.

From the memorial, enjoy a visit to the Pacific Aviation Museum. This family friendly venue is located in a 1930’s era hanger on Ford Island and presents classic and rare WWII American and Japanese airplanes. Begin your Hawaiian aerial adventure in the Control Tower, then move on to Hangar 37 to watch a film of the December 7, 1941 attack with some original still photography.

Explore the exhibit area and experience history through dioramas with aircraft and artifacts from the Pacific Theater from WWII. Visit Hangar 79 where you will clearly see the scars of war; shrapnel marks on concrete walls and bullet holes on the hangar doors from the Japanese strafing runs.

As you travel back to Waikiki in comfort and style, drive through the Punchbowl National Cemetery, it is located in the middle of Puawaina Crater (an extinct volcano). This was the site of many secret royal (Ali’i) burials. We wrap up with a trip through historic downtown Honolulu with expert narration provided; this Hawaii sightseeing tour has something for the entire family!

Frequently Asked Questions
Click on the red "Book It" button and make a request. You will receive a confirmation usually within hours. If it is not available you will not be charged and we'll help you find an alternative date or similar tour.
H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
Most companies, if not all, require you to call them if you're trying to book something 2-3 days in advance. Do you really want to be spending your valuable time in Hawaii calling around to desperately find something that is available to do? While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible! When you get to the booking page, select the hotel you are staying at. Your confirmation email will have the pickup location which will either be your hotel, or somewhere within 5 minute walking distance.
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!

“PAT Honolułu & Arizona Memorial Tour”
Overall:
Good tour - Peter (Pekelo) was fantastic tour guide. Arizona Memorial ferry was cancelled due to high winds, but PAT made it OK by rescheduled a makeup for following day. If they had been more flexible on day, I would've given higher rating. Price not too bad.
