Professional Tour Guide
Description:
Our exploration of Oahu starts with visiting the world famous Hanauma Bay, and the Kahauloa tuff cone volcano along the island's stunning southeast volcanic coastline. Our next stop is Halona Cove, where green sea turtles and humpback whales swim in the crystal clear waters off "From Here to Eternity Beach" and the Blowhole shoots columns of saltwater into the sky.

While stopping at Makapu'u Lookout you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of offshore islands and the 25,000 year old Kaupo lava flow.

Your professional nature guide will show you rare species of colorful seabirds including: Red-footed Boobies, Great Frigate birds and Red-tailed Tropicbirds. Just past "Robin's Nest", where Magnum P.I. was filmed, we marvel at Oahu's longest sandy beach and enjoy the aquamarine waters of Waimanalo Bay where tropical fish and coral abounds.

We then travel to an ancient Hawaiian temple, Ulupou Heiau, to see one of Oahu's best preserved archaeological sites.

After that you head to the world-famous Pali Lookout, described by Mark Twain as one of the most beautiful views on earth, where you will see the turquoise waters of Kaneohe Bay and the jagged 2,000 foot vertical cliffs of the majestic Koolau Volcano.

Our main focus is conservation through education, while having fun at the same time. We are not a shuttle service, our professional, trained and knowledgeable guides will accompany you on the entire trail, explaining its geological formation, historical facts, legends and show you its unique species, and provide a safe and memorable experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
This is highly recommended to make sure you can select the exact date and departure time that fits your vacation schedule.
This adventure is suitable for children 3 years or older.
This is a driving sightseeing tour around the island so no hiking/walking is required. We do stop for 10-20 minute photo stops at each visited locations so the only walking required would be from the bus parking areas to the lookout points, etc. (no more than 100-150 yards)
H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend aso much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible!
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!

“Great Company. Saw Heaps & Learnt a lot!”
Overall:
We found these tours the perfect option for us as we didn't want to hire a car. We booked two tours the North Shore and Circle Island Adventure & Natural Highlights of Oahu Adventure. We had Justin as our guide for the Natural highlights tour. He was amazing!!! From the moment we boarded to the moment we got off he didn't stop talking. We learnt so much. He took an interest of where everyone was from ... moreand on the stops he engaged with the passengers. I felt the stops on this tour were long enough, otherwise just sit back and relax and watch the sunning scenery flow by.

We also took advantage of the multi trip discount and booked the North shore circle tour.
This driver wasn't as talkative as the first tour guide. We choose this tour as it went to the Byodo-In Temple and to see the turtles. The stop at the temple was the perfect amount of time, looked round the place and took the pictures we wanted to get. I appreciate we had a lot of ground to cover but the stop at sea turtles could of been 10 minutes longer as people were enjoying watching the turtles play in the waves. I think the sea turtles were a major draw card for a lot of people on this tour. Although we stopped at the dole plantation this was really just a stop at the gift shop and the opportunity to buy a nice pineapple ice cream. But that's just my opinion we are not fans of gift shops.

“Natural Highlights of Oahu”
Overall:
We completed this tour yesterday with Justin as the guide. I highly recommend this tour for anyone that wishes to see some of the highlights of Oahu. We enjoyed it so much we will be with them again for their Manoa Waterfall Hike. Can't say enough good about Justin as he really went out of his way to make certain we enjoyed ourselves and remained safe and comfortable. His knowledge of everything Hawaii ... moreis impressive.

Overall:
I lucked out finding this tour company. During my trip I wanted to experience the natural wonders of Hawaii without having a direct negative impact on the environment. While looking through the myriad of brochures I was impressed by the selection of tours they offered. As a provider of Eco-tours I was excited to try them out. The tour group has various pick-up spots at hotels in Honolulu. Since I ... morewas staying at a friend's place they were able to set up a pick up at the Ala Moana Hotel, which was the closest to where I was staying.

The tour I signed up for was the "Natural Highlights of Oahu Adventure" tour. This tour takes you around the island showing you different natural highlights. The bus drives to different areas, you get out and explore a bit and then hop back on it for the next stop. The tour guide was amazing. He was knowledgeable about the environment he showed us. We were lucky enough to make a stop at an off the beaten track beach. The tour guide had found this beach while out exploring the island and was excited to share it with the group. It definitely added to my enjoyment of the tour.

I had initially signed up for a "Discover Honolulu's Hidden Waterfalls" tour but wanted to switch it to the "Manoa Waterfall Adventure" tour because after talking to the tour guide I realized that it wasn't the experience I was looking for. I called Oahu Nature Tours the next day and they happily switched tours for me. Luckily they were the same price so I didn't have to be concerned about any additional payments.

The guide I had for the Manoa Falls hike was great. He had bottled water, walking sticks and rain ponchos for everyone in the group if needed. Before starting the tour he pointed out that they were filming LOST in the area and hopefully we would get to see some of the actors. We didn't but we did see all the equipment and trailers. I took a walking stick since the ground was wet from recent rainfall. It was a gorgeous hike that was a little challenging for me since I am out of shape. The guide took his time to point out different interesting things throughout the tour.

I wish I had more time on the island to try another one of their tours.
