Experience our familiar Ka’a’awa Valley, known as Hollywood’s “Hawaii Backlot”, to see where over 50 of Hollywood’s biggest blockbuster movies and TV shows were filmed, including even some of the 1960’s Elvis classics.

Hop aboard a vintage school bus and take a photo of yourself at the infamous Jurassic Park fallen tree, find Godzilla’s footprints, see the Windtalkers battlegrounds and visit several other locations including the famous “penguin” road site from 50 First Dates, the road site from You Me & Dupree, the house structure from Mighty Joe Young, and numerous Hawaii Five-0 and LOST areas, like Hurley’s golf course! You might even see a filming in progress! You will also stop at an amazing WWII army bunker, built entirely into the side of the mountain range. There you’ll find movie posters, props and memorabilia from lots of the movies filmed at Kualoa through the years, as well as marvel at the Kualoa WWII artifacts and exhibits.

PREMIER MOVIE SITE TOUR

Take this behind-the-scenes VIP tour of many of the familiar movie sites where Hollywood blockbusters have been filmed since the 1950’s at Kualoa.

You’ll see iconic Jurassic sets like the Indominus Rex dinosaur pen, the Jurassic Park gate, the Gyrosphere loading dock, as well as the famous fallen log from Jurassic Park. Continue with Godzilla’s footprints, the bunkers from LOST, a Hawaii Five-0 set, and even a walk around the location of the Hukilau Cafe from 50 First Dates. To refresh your memory, movie clips of the various scenes shot at Kuala are shown to enhance the tour.

Be sure to have your cameras handy, as there will be many opportunities for selfies, and Paparazzi wannabes can take memorable photos. Frequently Asked Questions
H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend aso much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or a increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible!
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!
Availability here changes constantly. We can tell you something is available and then 5 minutes later someone else books and its not available anymore. If you make a booking and your activity is not available, then you will not be charged. No hassles, no worries!

Great tour and experience
Overall:
The Ranch is a fantastic place to explore. I took the Premier Movie Tour which was well worth it. Small group in aircon 4wd comfort and got to stop at places the regular tours didn’t. If you enjoy movies and want to see where they are made, I’d highly recommend this tour. Lots of fun with the tour guide and we even got given popcorn & m&ms mid tour! All round great experience.

Well worth it
Overall:
We took the Movie Site and Ranch Tour at 2:15 on August 1, 2014. It was great. Our tour guide (whose name I can't remember) was very knowledgeable and funny. When we stopped at the Jurassic Park site, he said to look to the left and look scared. I did and couldn't see what he did. To my delight, he took out a toy T-rex and placed it in the picture. It's become my favorite picture of my Hawaii trip. ... moreThanks to him for making the tour fun.

Our friends from Germany were delighted with the grandeur of the valley. Our guide, Cowboy, was so informative about the land's history , WWII sites, and so many movie plots. May the Morgan family continue to be successful in preserving this special land.
