Frequently Asked Questions
The boat leaves the harbor at around 9am and is back by noon, so there is 3 hours of sailing and snorkeling.
Availability here changes constantly. We can tell you something is available and then 5 minutes later someone else books and its not available anymore. If you make a booking and your activity is not available, then you will not be charged. No hassles, no worries!
H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible!

Awesome !
Overall:
This was just great! We went to the west side of Oahu, where there are less tourists. Snorkeled at some really nice spots, saw a lot of amazing fish and turtles, glad I brought my gopro! The captain was really good at spotting all the dolphins and it was really cool seeing them in their natural habitat. They even followed the boat for a while and jumped around the wakes. The food was really good too!

Bunch of Dolphins!
Overall:
West side of Oahu is amazing! This trip is great, we stopped to snorkel, and saw a bunch of dolphins swimming jumping around while we were in the boat. These guys are all about respecting the dolphins so they don't chase after them and try to drop you off to snorkel with them.

Overall:
Thank you Hawaii nautical for making our snorkeling tour fantastic. We saw hundreds of dolphins. This mom and baby were my 5 yr olds favorite. 3 turtles - George was my favorite and even an octopus. Thanks for keeping an eye on my 5 yr old while we snorkeled since she didn't want to go in the water. Thank you to the captain for Checking on me since I got sea sick. Highly recommend you to every one ... more- awesome team and a great tour.

This is the BEST catamaran snorkeling excursion I've ever been on!
Overall:
Everything from the pickup service at the hotel to the boat ride out to the snorkeling was amaaaazing - 10 stars! First, on the boat ride there's pretty much no restrictions and you can go wherever you please, even towards the front of the ship where there are no railings. They warn you to be careful of course, but it's pretty awesome that you can layout on top where the sails are and pretty much ... morewander around like this is your second home.

Second, depending on what time you sign up for (9-12pm or 1-4pm) you get unlimited buffet breakfast or lunch. We went in the morning, and yea sure its just muffins, sandwiches and fruit but I haven't seen this done on other yachts I've been on.

Third, open bar!! They give you two free drink tickets so you can get the basics like rum & coke and an ice cold beer... or you can pay a small fee for mimosas, bloody mary's, their catamaran special (a really good drink of their own making with nutmeg in it), and more.

Fourth, boy oh boy did we see wildlife! We saw a mama and baby humpback whale really close up - it was stunning. It was spouting water like no other and the baby was swimming right beside it. Whale watching season usually doesn't start til mid-December but the whales came early this year I guess. Then we saw turtles... and after we finished snorkeling we saw a huge school of dolphins swimming beside us! There were about 5-6 of them and they were hamming it up, doing flips and twirls in the air and making happy noises. Dolphins are one of the friendliest creatures on earth... I love them so much!

Finally, I should talk about the snorkeling - they take you to pretty warm waters and you get to snorkel for about 45 minutes. They go through all the basics with you so that you know what you're doing and you can either climb down some stairs into the water or jump straight into the ocean at your own leisure.

By the way, they PROMISE/GUARANTEE that you will see dolphins on your excursion or they'll give you a voucher for a free excursion for next time. I had a ton of fun with Ko Olina Cat and I think you will too!
