This dive site features the wreck of a 168-foot ship that was sunk in 1999 for use as an artificial reef. One can enter this wreck through its passageways, stairwells and cargo holds. ... moreOne cannot enter the inner cabins due to barriers being welded. This site, the Sea Tiger, is visited almost daily by Atlantis Submarines. One should not go near the submarines for ones own protection. Even though the wreck is new, it has attracted a plentiful amount of marine life including filefish, squirrelfish, moray eels and some reef sharks.

Turtle Canyons is just off the coast near Waikiki. On the surface, you see surfers and paddlers but as you drop down, a whole new world opens up. There's also a good variety of eel species that live here. It’s a great place to practice your buoyancy and get ‘up close and personal’ with marine life like crabs and hawkfish who take refuge in the coral.

The San Pedro shipwreck is about 50 yards from YO-257. This ship was intentionally sunk by Atlantis Submarines Hawaii in 1996. Originally a Korean fishing boat workingin the south ... morePacific, the San Pedro now sits in 85 feet of water with main decks between 65-70 feet.

A retired Navy Yard Oiler built in the 1940s, the YO-257 was purchased by Atlantis Submarines Hawaii and sunk in 1989 off the coast of Waikiki. The YO, as it’s called by locals, sits at about 100-115 ft of water, but divers reach the top decks by 85 feet.
Teeming with marine life, one of the highlights of this wreck is the turtle cleaning station on its main deck, where divers can have a once in a lifetime experience with these magnificent creatures. Tropical reef fish abound, along with moray eels and reef sharks.
A very popular dive site, it’s accessible by most divers but can have very strong currents. We recommend you always use the mooring line and also keep a careful watch out for the 80 ton Atlantis Submarines that may cross your path.
