Frequently Asked Questions
You must be 10 years old to go Scuba diving and must be able to lift 25 pounds on your back.
Scuba diving is a fun and relaxing sport that people of all ages and physical fitness can participate in. There is a medical questionnaire that must be completed before going diving. If there is a medical issue we will require a doctor's note before going diving.
We will ask you to sign some liabilities here in the shop. We will also ask that you fill out a basic medical questionnaire that states you are physically fit to go diving. If there is a medical issue we ask that you get a doctor's note clearing you to go SCUBA diving.
Click on the red "Book It" button and you will see live availability. Keep in mind availability changes constantly, so make sure to book in advance!
H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
Most companies, if not all, require you to call them if you're trying to book something 2-3 days in advance. Do you really want to be spending your valuable time in Hawaii calling around to desperately find something that is available to do? While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. When you select your hotel, you will see the pickup location and directions. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible!
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!

I highly recommend Aaron's Dive Shop and his owner, Warren. I just finished 4 days of diving and cannot say enough about the fun dives, friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable and great staff. The crew was very accommodating in picking dive spots that catered to the divers wrt their skill set and interests. Our dive master was Jake who had expert knowledge about the sites and made sure everybody was ... morecomfortable all the time. The rental equipment is of very good quality and very well maintained.
As a qualifier for the above review I add my dive experience: DM / 30 years of diving.

I spent the last 3 days diving with the crew over at Aaron's. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire staff over at Aaron's, from the Dive Master's, Shaun and Carsten, boat captain Garret, and the owner, Warren. What comes across very clear here is everyone absolutely loves diving. I am a very experienced diver, and I've found professional divers often get burned out when working in this industry ... morefor too long. Not the case here at Aaron's. Even the seasoned veteran's excitement is that of a brand new open water diver on vacation, one could easily spend too much time hanging out in the store just picking their brains about diving.

I dove with Aaron's for 3 days (6 dives) straight and Warren was ultra accommodating with finding dives I really wanted to do. I come from northern California, an area void of shipwrecks, so he made sure to plan at least one shipwreck per day (LCU, YO, Corsair). All of which were fantastic.
I also had a chance to meet several IDC students finishing their instructor exam as Larry, their course director (highest position in PADI) offers classes all the way up to open water instructor.

They carry awesome toys, maintain a really sweet dive club, and enjoy sharing the shores of their island with us Haole's

First dive in Hawaii was awesome! Shaun was our dive master and Garret was captain/came on our second dive. Shaun was very professional and laid back at the same time. The boat out to the site was quick and easy. First dive down was beautiful. Conditions were clear and easy. We came up for some fresh pineapple and water to rest before our second dive. Second dive we saw about 4 turtles!! Shaun made ... moresure I got some great pictures with the turtle and was really cool about me taking a million pictures like the tourist I am :) would highly recommend!! The dive sites weren't crowded with other divers and I felt safe and well taken care of.

My boyfriend and I went back to rent equipment for the day to do a shore dive and they were once again very nice and helpful, giving us info on great shore dives. We went to sharks cove and had a great time!

Jessica was my dive instructor and she was wonderful! Took great care of me and made sure to find and point out all the interesting sea creatures and sights. Best view was a huge sea turtle swimming above me.

My boyfriend and I went on two dive trips with these guys, taking off from the Hawaii Kai area and had a BLAST! We saw tons of sea turtles, eels, a whitetip reef shark(!!), and of course, thousands of beautiful fish. We even saw a whale breaching on our way out! Jake, our Dive Master, was fantastic!! Along with the rest of the crew (Captain Garrett/first trip, Captain Steve/second trip, and Carston), ... moreall of whom were more than willing to make our trip as easy and fun as possible. They were very professional and efficient, while still making the trip light and fun! Would love you dive again with Aaron's and would highly recommend them!

I had 4 great dives with Aaron's Dive Shop while on vacation earlier this month. I hadn't been diving for several years, but Seamonkey was awesome and everything came back. I had a great time! I sure hope I get to go diving again very soon! I appreciated Seamonkey and everyone else that made it such a fun experience smile emoticon
