Frequently Asked Questions
Click on the red "Book It" button and you will see live availability. Keep in mind availability changes constantly, so make sure to book in advance!
H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
Most companies, if not all, require you to call them if you're trying to book something 2-3 days in advance. Do you really want to be spending your valuable time in Hawaii calling around to desperately find something that is available to do? While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. When you select your hotel in the booking page, you will see the pickup location and directions. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible!

We take you to destinations away from the crowds. Your photography guide will take you off the beaten path to beautiful locations. Along the way sharing Hawaiian culture and the history for each site giving you a personal connection and story to accompany your photos. We give personal photography Instruction. At each stop your guide provides expert tips for creating stunning imagery. This workshop-like experience assists you in transforming your photography skills allowing you to capture your own unique images that tell your personal vacation story. Whether you use a DSLR, pocket camera or even an iphone we can assist you in creating beautiful photographs. At the end of your photo tour you will have captured breathtaking photographs that will last a lifetime.
We provide pick-up and drop-off in Waikiki, professional one on one photography instruction, water, tripods, and umbrellas in case it rains.
We will pick you up at the Ala Moana Hotel. There is free parking at the Ala Moana Shopping Center.
Bring your camera, the manual if you have it, and all lenses. We do have some cameras and lenses available for rent (call
ahead to reserve). Pocket cameras and mobile phones work too! Comfortable closed-toed walking shoes.
Sometimes we have a little mud. Hat and sunscreen. A light jacket or sweater. Sense of adventure.
Sometimes it rains, usually for a short time, but when the sun comes out, that’s when you can catch a rainbow.
We limited our small groups to 7 people. We would like everyone to be comfortable and be able to spread out in our van and also give you personalized attention. Family tours and private tours can have larger groups if needed.

Blue Hawaii Photo Tours
My husband and I went on both the Island and Flower tours with Marie. She was extremely knowledgeable about cameras and places to take super photos. Marie asked what we liked to take photos of and adjusted the tour to our interests. Marie gave all on the tour the attention and ... more
instructions we needed to use our cameras and get good shots of the
beautiful island and the flowers on it. Also, being able to view the sea
turtles basking in the sun was a highlight.
Marie knows where to take you.
I went on the Garden Tour and Marie takes you to places that have a large variety of flowers. The small groups allows Marie to spend quality time with you teaching you what she knows. Marie, thanks for a wonderful experience.
Photo adventure
This was my first time visiting Hawaii and wanted to see the island. I booked a garden tour and sunset tour. Marie took us to a few scenic places to take pics on the garden tour (for macro photography) including a temple and a orchid nursery and i took some nice pictures of plants, ... more
flowers and insects. The sunset tour I really enjoyed and got to see the
rest of the island. Marie was very knowledgeable about the island in
general and scenic areas. She also gave me some tips in taking great
shots with my camera, which Im still learning. If you decide to take the
tour, bring with you an umbrella, hat, sun-screen, insect repellent,
and camera =).
