Frequently Asked Questions
Click on the red "Book It" button and make a request. You will receive a confirmation usually within hours. If it is not available you will not be charged and we'll help you find an alternative date or similar tour.
H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
Most companies, if not all, require you to call them if you're trying to book something 2-3 days in advance. Do you really want to be spending your valuable time in Hawaii calling around to desperately find something that is available to do? While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible! When you get to the booking page, select the hotel you are staying at. Your confirmation email will have the pickup location which will either be your hotel, or somewhere within 5 minute walking distance.
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!

Great day
We had a wonderful time. The hike was through a beautiful rainforest and was educational as well. The waterfalls was unbelievable. Lunch was good, and the bike ride was just fun.
Downhill bike ride in Honolulu
We took the Bike Hawaii downhill bike tour. I had not been on a bike in 30 years. It was easy to figure out what to do. I had a great time. Five miles downhill. The guide and the driver were very knowledgeable and personable. My wife and I had a great time on the ride and talking to the guide.
Educational, fun, outdoorsy!
Mike was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I learned about Hawaiian history, geology, and botany in what was the most gorgeous outdoors setting imaginable. The hike wasn't too hard, the scenery was amazing, and coasting down the mountain on the bike was a hoot!
Great day in Honolulu
We did the hike/bike and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day! Mike was super helpful and told us everything he knew about the flora and fauna on the trails as well as a lot of things about the town. We had a fantastic trip! The coast downhill was so much fun! The lunch they provided was filling and just enough to get us through the rest of the downhill portion of the biking trip! All staff was friendly ... moreand informative.
Fabulous Hiking/Biking Experience!
My daughter selected the intermediate hike/downhill bike trip as a gift to me during my recent visit to Honolulu. It was the best possible surprise. While my husband played golf, I enjoyed the hike, together with 11 other energetic, nature-loving people from China, Borneo, Australia and Sacramento, CA. Our energetic leader, Matthias, greeted me warmly when he picked me up. He was knowledgeable about ... morethe rain forest flora and fauna, plus the history of the island. He was also attentive to the safety and enjoyment of everyone. While most people seem to come in pairs, I did this on my own and can unreservedly recommend it to single travelers. Over the tasty picnic lunch I enjoyed the opportunity to speak with the others in the group. All in all a memorable experience. Thanks, dear Debra, for the best gift!
