Yes please indicate your desire for vegetarian option when you make a request.
We recommend wearing casual clothing, comfortable footwear & a light sweater.
A picture ID must be present for guests over the age of 21 years of age in order to consume alcohol.

H Tours Hawaii is a "one stop shop" for all the best activities in the Hawaiian Islands. Since we work with many providers, reservations are necessary. WE HIGHLY recommend making reservations, as many activities are at a discount when you reserve in advance. Some providers even charge higher for those "walking in" because they know chances are you're not going to walk away. Finally, a reservation ensures you have a space on the tour. Trust us you don't want to spend so much time and money to come to Hawaii and then miss out on an activity because they were booked out!
Choose the tour you are interested in, click the red “Book It” button adjacent to the tour information, and complete the booking form.
Most companies, if not all, require you to call them if you're trying to book something 2-3 days in advance. Do you really want to be spending your valuable time in Hawaii calling around to desperately find something that is available to do? While we can usually accommodate most last-minute bookings, we highly encourage those that are checking out our website far in advance to book 2-3 weeks prior to desired date. You never know if there's a convention, special event, or an increase in overall visitors in town, and it would be a shame if the activities that you want to do are sold out because you waited until the last minute. Basically, if you know you want to do it, just book it!
Most companies have a set of centrally located hotels that they do pick ups from. This makes the pickup process short so you can start the tour as soon as possible!
Gratuity is never required but if you enjoyed your experience, a tip is always greatly appreciated!
This is an option, but it is not recommended, as it is not possible to park in the estate and there's very limited street parking. You would have to walk up a hill and it may be dark, and we cannot be responsible for any issues arising from that.

The portion of the luau before the dinner and show was lots of fun. You can make headbands out of coconut leaves or get polynesian stamp tattoos, and learn a short hula dance if you'd like. There are also some presentations that are both entertaining and informative. The view is also amazing from the top of the mountain. ... more

The dinner was where it fell a bit flat...the food wasn't great and the presentation could use a bit more creativity. Just a bunch of food in bowls that everyone's supposed to share. The pork and fried ahi were a bit cold. Also no poi! Granted, most people don't like poi but what is a real Hawaiian luau without poi.

The show was very good. Lots of dances from the different islands and very entertaining.
My fiance and I were on our honeymoon and visited this luau on Tuesday 11-4-14. We chose this luau over the others available in Oahu due to the time. We did not want to spend a whole day at the Polynesian Cultural Center, and we did not have all afternoon and evening for Germain's and Paradise Cove. We had a good time, the food was great (no pig - they cannot do that due to the location being on sacred ... moreland). Though the location was interesting and that the cabin was where Elvis would stay at when he visited. Small crowd/more intimate show. Loved it. It was fun to make a lei bracelet, play the ukelele, get a fake tattoo, and make a palm tree leaf hat. Fun time and great experience for the traveler on a tight time limit.
Grreat Experience
People here were great. From the pickup to the return this excursion is well worth the time and money.
It was a lot of fun. The dances were great and the good and service was fabulous. The view was also beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was that we didn't see the roasted pig which was the one thing I was looking forward too.
Dancers going up to the stage
Dancers on the stage
With the amazing 8 year old fire dancer
With one of the handsome dancers who pulled me to the stage to teach me how to dance
At the dinner table
Amazing, Amazing, Amazing
Amazing welcoming ceremony  Amazing show i hula (both girls and Boys)  Amazing fireshow - crazy  Amazing Music  Amazing food !  Amazing surroundings and view over honolulu !  We had heard that the old luau on Maui was the absolute Best - but you have to book that two months in advance. So we booked The Big Kahuna Luau which had only been running for two weeks ! ... more

When Reading reviews of other luaus one common thing was bad food and too Many people. But at the big zz luau, the food was amazing and we were only 30 people (with Room to about 60 people - the show was so new that not fully booked - but dont know why!!!?? Cause it was great)
The food had beef, chicken, fish and pulled pork hawaiian style and Rice and salad and a great dessert ! Sooo good and sooo much better than what we had expected ! :-)

People were Nice and that activities in the beginning were fun ! :-)

We are a Young couple and give our warmest recommendations for The Big Kahuna Luau luau !! :-) Very romantic spot with fantastic view, and a fantastic main house (restrooms) - which btw. has been visited by marilynn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Audrey Hepburn and many other big celebrities.
Best luau in Honolulu
We traveled in style to the top of Honolulu with a great story of the island. We stopped at a scenic spot to take pictures overlooking Honolulu. It was breathtaking at sunset. We then were taken to a historic spot where we were greeted by authentic looking Hawaiians with leis. We opted for the VIP option and it was well worth it. Our pictures were taken and then we made souvenirs to take home. We ... moreeven got a ukulele lesson. The food was good but the show was fantastic. They took many guests on stage to do the hula with the performers. The fire dancer was a fifteen year old kid and we were blown away. The real thrill for us was that this luau was intimate. We were not herded in a group of 800 people. We were served dinner instead of waiting in lines. We were treated like family(ohana). What an amazing experience.
This was the absolute best time so far on our trip. We opted for the VIP treatment and it was worth it. Everyone from the driver on down we're lots of fun. All were well-prepared very friendly and interesting. We participated in lots of fun activities. ukulele playing, hula dancing, fake but neat tatto's coconut husking, singing. Plus the food was very good both the appetizers and the main course. ... moreThe best was the entertainment. I can't believe how well it was choreographed. The fire dance was spectacular.

We were very happy with our choice.
